I cried a lot in this book, and I've never read a book before that has made me ugly cry like this. It's written with knowledge and compassion, which is what is needed with the nature of this book.
This is definitely different to what Chelle Bliss usually writes, but it was fantastic and something I won't forget in a hurry.
The characters are well described, their moods are perfect for each part of the book, though I wasn't keen on Callie's stubbornness. But Bruno is a big boy (in more ways than one ;) ), and he's not your typical, beat fists on chest, alpha as other books. He's compassionate, caring, loving and gentle...not something you would imagine from a large, burly, badass looking guy.
I loved how his job was revealed and was revealed at the right time. I love everything about this book, and most of all, I love how Chelle has managed to write this heartwrenching book with so much heart that you can feel it in every word.
