AFTER MIDNIGHT

After Midnight
By Sarah Grimm

About The Book:

Thirteen years — that's how long Isabeau Montgomery has been living a lie. After an automobile accident took her mother's life, Izzy hid herself away, surviving the only way she knew how. Now she is happy in her carefully reconstructed life. That is until he walks through the door of her bar...

Black Phoenix singer/front man Noah Clark came to Long Island City with a goal — one that doesn't include an instant, electric attraction to the dark-haired beauty behind the bar. Coaxing her into his bed won't be easy, but he can't get her pale, haunted eyes nor her skill on the piano out of his head.

Can Noah help Isabeau overcome the past? Or will her need to protect her secret force her back into hiding and destroy their chance at happiness?

My Review:

Brilliant story, amazing characters, an awesome twist of events and even heroism!
I only missed .7 of a star because for the first part of the book I kept getting confused on who's POV/side of the story it was, where one minute it would be Noah then all of a sudden it was Isabeau's. But half way through I go the hang of the writing (lol) and I honestly, thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and the twists!

Where can I get myself a Noah? Just a little younger? ;)
I also loved the background characters especially DOMINIC..(wouldn't mind myself a piece of him either ;) )

At first, I couldn't figure out who was doing all the scare tactics on Isabeau, which is AWESOME because it really kept me guessing...Close to revealing who it was though, I remembered Him, and guessed correctly
(Which made me a squeal like an idiot!)

OVERALL...A great story!!

***RECOMMENDED!***
