ASHER

ASHER
By Jo Raven

About the book:

Now eighteen, Audrey returns to her home town for the first time after the accident – the car crash that took her dad and scarred her for life. She’s here to start again. Go to college and have fun. Make new friends. Get over the past.
But the past won’t let go. Asher is here – her first kiss, her first heartbreak. More handsome and distant than ever, he’s still the boy who used to be her best friend. That was before he changed into someone she hardly knows anymore – the boy who started getting into fights and gave her the cold shoulder for years.
Asher isn’t what she needs. In fact, she hates him and should try her best to keep away from him.
Yet her body doesn’t seem to care about how she feels, and maybe, just maybe this time her body got it right. Not that she has much of a choice. Asher draws her like a bright flame, and if she isn’t careful, she’ll burn.
And that may not be such a bad thing after all...

This is New Adult erotic romance, dual POV.
******Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and violence. Mature readers only. Not intended for young adult readers.***

My Review:

Wow. This book was amazing. The story was emotional and intense. I hardly put it down today.
It's different nowadays to find a book that focuses more on the problems of a bloke then the female. Asher had a hard life, I can't fathom anyone ever going through what he did.
Amazing Read!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Also, there is a prequel to Asher....

Kiss Me Goodbye.

About The book:

At fourteen, Audrey has the perfect life: great parents, great buddies, and her best friend, Asher. Only lately Asher has begun to change. He seems distant and standoffish, ignoring Audrey. And worst of all, not all changes are bad. He’s growing from a pretty boy into a handsome man, and Audrey is all too aware of that. But if they cross the line from friends to something more, will things stay the same or will she lose her best friend forever?

This is the prequel to ASHER (Inked Brotherhood, #1). It is a short story and it tells the events that led to Audrey and Asher's first fallout when they were fourteen.
No sex.

My Review:

a great little read about asher and audrey's relationship before "asher" the actual book. broke my heart poor audrey but after reading asher its doesnt reallt matter.
great read though :)

Even though this book is only 20 pages long, it's still a captivating read!
I recommend both these books to anyone interested in Contemporary Romance and the like :)

Fate steps in and sweeps the carpet out from under her. He has a secret that may rip them apart. There are forces bigger than them at work; drawing them in and making their worlds collide – not letting either one of them walk away.

My Review:

I thought I wanted City?.....Think I've changed my mind...wouldn't mind myself a bit of Michael Gallo :D Yum is an understatement. A big rock hard man (in more then 1 place!) fighting in cages, running a tattoo business and helping with a clinic?! This man is a mixture of contradictions, but he's sexy as all out!

Mia really didn't know what she was getting herself into, another sweet an innocent lady, with a dirty mouth and witty comebacks. Definitely a match made in hunk heaven! She's a workaholic with volunteering on the side. A busy woman who never in her wildest dreams would think she'd meet a man that could turn her inside out, yet rile all her inner self!

This book totally had me from the start, and around 85% I was pissing my self laughing!! I love the conversations Michael has with his Ma! All out funny as hell! A great read! <3

BY MY SIDE

"BY MY SIDE"
By Stephanie Witter

About the book:

Lily Saunders sees her family falling apart. Her father is deserting her, and her mother is drinking more and more. Even sarcasm can't help Lily. When she thinks her best friend, Andy Green, will help her, she discovers how his blinding jealousy will mess everything up.

And then Gabe Green comes back home. She thinks it'll be like always between them—sarcasms and curses thrown at each other—but she's mistaken. He's different, and understands right away the problems she's trying to keep for herself.

But even if he's there for her, making her fall hard, they both know it'll end soon. Because at their age, you can't expect forever. Right?

My Review:

Another book by Stephanie Witter that has my stomach and throat in complete knots! And another book that deserves a lot more than 5 stars!
Another damn book i cried a little at!

This book was like an emotional rollercoaster, it made me feel I was there with them, sharing their pain.
Who thought 2 people as stubborn as Gabe and Lily, would find solace in each other after years of fighting with each other!?

Thrown in the mix was Andy, the jealous best friend. He needed a little slap just to sort him the hell out!

I was so hooked on this book that I couldn't even hold a conversation with my partner without snapping at him! Very emotional, and AMAZING story line and another awesome book that tore my me to pieces.

A bit about the book:

Skye followed her long time boyfriend to Seattle for their first year of college, but he dumped her after only a week. The relationship brought only pain and destruction in Skye's life, and yet, she can't bring herself to open up and live her life.

"What if I am already broken into pieces?"

She hates to be touched, hiding under her oversized shirts and behind her wild frizzy hair. Even her bubbly roommate can't reach her. And yet ...

"I'm the guy who knows how you can hurt so much that your insides feel like they're cut and bleeding."

The tall, handsome, and tattooed TA in her psychology class changes everything when he literally collides with her and confronts her. For the first time in a long time, she wants to try and open up to this guy whose dark, intense eyes can't hide his own pain despite his dazzling smile getting to her.

However, just when she's starting to live again, her ex-boyfriend comes back, breaking her time and time again, making it all the more complicated.

She wants to fight for herself and for this building thing with the TA, even when he pushes her away, but can two broken people patch each other up?

"I never thought colliding with someone could change lives, but it is possible."

* Due to some shocking scenes, this novel is for readers of 18 and up.

My Review:

If I could give this book 10 stars I most definitely would!

Skye's story tore on all my heart-strings. It was like reading my story through someone else's eyes. I've been where Skye is in this book. Everything seem so familiar that I couldn't stop reading it, or put it down!

The story is intense and emotional! Although, Duke needs a smack upside the head at times, he's the first genuine character I have had the pleasure of reading about for a while. A man who is willowing in guilt and passion, feelings he's not used to, whilst also coaxing Skye out of her depression as well as sticking up for her against her psychopathic ex-boyfriend, Sean.

I related to this book like no other book I've ever read. I'm not gonna burden people with my ex situation, but this books reminds of past experiences.

I'm really really really looking forward to the next part of this book! Then Kate and Derricks story as well!

I've never been so moved, and cried at the end like it was all a true story.

Much praise to Stephanie Witter for writing such a heart felt book!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

Here's a little about the book:

City gave up on love when his heart was crushed in college, preferring to be the typical bachelor. He spends his nights hopping from one bed to another and his days working at his family tattoo shop, Inked. A chance encounter on a dark road makes him question what he had sworn off forever – a relationship.

A night of passion and lust causes them to question everything. Is City the knight in shining armor to the damsel in distress? Can their relationship survive when a fantasy falls apart and a secret comes out that changes everything?

4 DAYS TO GO TIL THE RELEASE OF 2B OR NOT 2B?

Are you ready for the release of 2B OR NOT 2B? Only 4 days to go til London and Byron show  us what they're made of!

Biggest release this week,

Hey!

Now, I know there are ALWAYS new books by various Authors out every day...But the biggest one this week?

2B OR NOT 2B - By Stephanie Witter.

Release date: 26th June 2014

A little about this book:

London Reed is on the hunt for a place to live before the start of her second year in college. Either she is successful and can enjoy her student life without the pressure of her parents breathing down her neck, or she goes back home and clashes with her parents.

Because London doesn’t have a filter.

''You’re a weird one, aren’t you?''

She basically tells it as she sees it. So when she meets the hunky and scarred guy who lives in apartment 2B, the last apartment on her exhausting list, she’s sure to bring some crazy in his life.

But he’s determined to not take a girl for a roommate.

"I have nothing against you, but I don't see this working for me."

London doesn’t give up that easily and makes a deal with him. If she makes it for two months, she’s in for the whole year. If not, then she leaves to never contact him again.

Easy, right? Not so much.

"You should have told me that you wanted me to be all over you."

When a guy and a girl live under the same roof, it’s bound to complicate things. Between banters, heady games of seduction, innuendos and insecurities revealed, the life in apartment 2B isn’t simple, and a few slips in their relationship doesn’t help the matter.

"You're driving me completely nuts. That's my fucking problem."
