I love a good MC as everyone knows, it's my favourite genre, I'm very demanding in what I want in and MC book, from the characters to the storyline.
Characters:
Angel (Molly) - she's sweet, endearing, loving but at the same time, fiercely hot-headed. I love how she came across and who she is and found she was one of the few people that was well defined and didn't change as the book went on.
Dawson - Alpha, hot, sexy, tattoos....perfect. He's your typical hot book boyfriend with an attitude to boot. I like his strong personality, his fierce protectiveness over Angel and Sasha even after knowing them for such a short period of time.
Sasha - I can imagine her as cute as a button but she was described all to well, she never spoke much so her character was hardly formed.
The other background characters chop and change throughout the book and I found myself slightly confused in places. They all have the start of personalities but nothing that stands out for me for future books in the series.
Storyline:
Though it's a strong storyline, action packed and heart stopping, I found, again, that I was confused as things happened so fast. like too fast. It's repetitive in places which didn't help. but there were strong analogies in there that made you picture things a little more clearly.
I don't like the cliffhanger. You know what's going to happen or be said anyway so the cliffhanger, to me, was mute.
Overall, I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series, even though February is a long time away and I may forget the characters and storyline by then.
